OMG! So the suggestion to maybe shorten your articles because they become to long and boring when you could probably give the details and information in a shorter version was totally ignored. So now you made them even longer!
As usual, thank you for offering us your critical comments. We appreciate everyone’s feedback, but we find yours extremely special.
Let me clarify a crucial element of our newsletter’s vision. In writing relatively longer articles than are usually found on typical social media sites, we are well aware that the length of our articles may pose a slight challenge to some readers. However, I hope our readers realize that what they get in return for an investment in time are articles that are far more substantive than those found on digital sites like X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and Instagram.
As a retired High School English teacher I know the negative impact that social media has had on the reading endurance of many Americans. But most LV Update readers have responded to our writing with enthusiasm, and that makes me happy. Some have even admitted to adapting their reading habits to our newsletter style. Based on your comments, I understand our newsletter may not be the best fit for your reading habits. You may want to seek out another free newsletter covering Linda Vista issues. Then again, if you stick with it, and continue to read the LV Update, you may eventually change your reading habits for the better. You will develop reading endurance. And then if everything works out, we will find out about this change, and one day publish a glowing article titled “LV Woman Becomes a Strong Reader.”
